Information About

Wrestling Association Of Championship Krushers

''Wrestling Association of Championship Krushers'', also known as '''''WACK''''', is a Professional Wrestling promotion for children that airs on Nickelodeon .

HISTORY

A mock press conference was aired on November 22 , 2006 to unveil the WACK promotion. The series debuted with a 3-hour block on November 25 , 2006, which was hosted by stars, Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw , of the Nickelodeon TV show, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide . It was originally supposed to air live every weekday, but it changed into a series of specials. The reason for this is not known. Although it is set to return in 2007, no new episodes of the show will be airing soon as Michael Hartney (the Big Cheese & Cowabunga) has stated on his blog that filming has been postponed for an indefinite period of time.

PLOT

The Big Cheese is the current WACK champion and the main star of the show. The contender, Atomic Banana, is after his title. Abominable Snowman betrayed Cowabunga after a big victory over the Wholesome Twins. The scheduled matchups for the return in 2007 are: Cowabunga vs Abominable Snowman, Big Cheese vs Atomic Banana, and Trouble Nugget/Bling vs Wholesome Twins in the main event, which it will be a "No Weapons Banned Match" (subject to change).

WEB-ONLY VIDEOS

When the WACK website launched, two sets of web-only videos were included in each wrestler's profile. They were called "Behind the WACK" and "Signature Moves Videos". However, the "Signature Moves" videos haven't been released yet.

Behind the WACK

"Behind the WACK" videos contain each wrestler's history, how they joined the league, and a few minor facts about them. They are around two minutes long.

Signature Moves

Along with the "Behind the WACK" videos, the profiles on the WACK website also come with signature moves videos, which haven't been released yet.

GAMES

  • WACK Wrestling Challenge: Nick.com released an online game on the site as a New Game of the Week called "WACK Wrestling Challenge", although not all wrestler parts are available, and you can't use special moves. Useable parts are from Atomic Banana, Abominable Snowman, Cowabunga, Bling, and Trouble Nugget. There is also no referee in this game, and you can't climb onto the turnbuckles or bounce of the ropes either. However, if you press the 'B' key in the middle of a match, the lights go off.

TRIVIA

  • During the WACK Press Conference, at first, Trouble Nugget is sitting between Atomic Banana and one of the Wholesome Twins, but after the Commissioner announces the truce, he's gone.

  • The Big Cheese is played by two separate people. When he is wrestling, he is played by an actual wrestler. When he is not in the ring, he is played by someone else. However, the same costume is used.

  • Before the Nicksgiving championship match between the Big Cheese and the Atomic Banana began, the Big Cheese's "hat" could been seen outside the ring.

  • The Wholesome Twins is an obvious parody of the Olsen Twins .

  • Bling was not at the Press Conference.

  • During the Nicksgiving championship match between the Big Cheese and Atomic Banana, Trouble Nugget was seen in the crowd.
