is an enclosed shopping mall located in , Inc. (NYSE: TCO) and Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU).
Woodland Mall opened in 1969 with three anchors: JCPenney, Sears, and
S.S. Kresge . Since opening, the mall has seen several renovations. A central wing with Hudson's was added in the mid 1970s. Kresge closed in the 1980s and was divided into smaller stores.
In 1997,
Lord & Taylor was proposed as a fourth anchor store. However, Hudson's sued the mall, claiming veto power over the addition of new anchor stores, and the store was never builthttp://www.skyview.iserv.net/newsroomarchive99.html
A
Food Court and play area were added to the mall in 1999. In 2006, a 14-screen
Cinemark Movie Theater and
Red Robin were added. Hudson's was converted to
Marshall Field's in 2001 and then to
Macy's in 2006 as the result of acquisitions. In June 2007, Celebration Cinema purchased the Cinemark theaters here and at
Rivertown Crossings Mall .

As of May 21, 2007, six
Interurban Transit Partnership bus routes serve the mall: routes 5 and 6 to Central Station, route 17 to Gerald R. Ford Airport, route 24 to Grandville Library, route 44 to Rivertown Crossings Mall, and 49 Davenport Express.
