Together with nearby Lake Delton, the city forms an area known as "the Dells," a popular Midwestern tourist destination boasting an estimated 5 million annual visitors which is located in parts of Sauk , Columbia , Adams and Juneau Counties. The area is known for its waterparks and boat and duck tours on the Wisconsin River.
