Collectively, the Wireless Broadband Alliance operates over 35,000 wireless hotspots around the world. The Wireless Broadband Alliance has three functional workgroups, each working towards individual objectives that meet overall goals of the alliance. The Business Development Workgroup is aimed at developing bilateral/multilateral commercial frameworks and driving business opportunities on behalf of the alliance. The Co-Marketing Workgroup works to develop a consistent brand and to generate awareness of wireless broadband benefits to potential customers. The Service Delivery Workgroup establishes and supports current/upcoming technological & interoperability issues and is responsible for coordinating initiatives involving technical implementations.
