The ''Winona Daily News'' is a daily Newspaper serving Winona, Minnesota and the surrounding area. Founded in 1856 , it is the second oldest continually running newspaper in the state, with a weekday circulation of 11,354 and a Sunday circulation of 12,340.

The Daily News was known as the ''Republican Herald'' until 1954 , and combined with the ''La Crosse Tribune'' in 1999; the presses and copy desk are located in La Crosse, Wisconsin .

Owned by Lee Enterprises , the newspaper is the primary media outlet for the area.
