William Wilson ( 1847 - 22 December 1895 ), a Sergeant in the U.S. Army 's 4th Cavalry, it noted for being one of only nineteen individuals to receive the Medal Of Honor twice.

:First citation: At Colorado Valley, Texas, 28 March 1872. Date of issue: 27 April 1872. In pursuit of a band of cattle thieves from New Mexico.

:Second citation: Distinguished conduct in action with Indians. Awarded: At Red River, Texas, 29 September 1872.

He is buried at San Francisco National Cemetery .
