PLOT SYNOPSIS

The episode begins with Downtown Sasquatch practicing a song in Craig and Joey's garage. When Jimmy Brooks ( Aubrey Graham ) breaks into a guitar solo, Craig stops singing and tells the group they need to get a gig at a wedding to buy recording gear to record their own album. Jimmy tells Craig that the music Craig writes, wedding bands, and therefore Craig are all lame. They are all fighting until Ellie stops them. Jimmy's dad arrives to take him and Marco Del Rossi ( Adamo Ruggiero ) home. With Ellie and Craig alone, she tells him she really likes playing with him. Realising what she's said, she quickly tells him she means she enjoys playing in the band because she's learned a lot. Craig compliments her Drumming skills, then sits next to her to teach her about Funk drumming.

At Jeremiah Motors , Joey's Used Car Lot , Joey is trying to sell a car to Diane (Nicola Correia Damude), an attractive woman much younger than he. Diane tells Joey her ex-boyfriend told her not to buy imports. He begins flirting with her, telling her he must have been a fool to let her go, she says she's the fool for she booked her ex's band for her sister's Wedding this coming weekend. Craig overhears the conversation, and tells Diane he has a band who are available for weddings. Joey invites Diane to come over to their home the following night to check out the band, and to try to persuade her to buy an import.

The next day at .

At the school . She walks out and Peter follows her to try to apologise, but Manny refuses to listen. When Peter get mad and pushes her against a locker Craig tells him never to talk to or even look at her again, or he'll have him to deal with. Craig asks Manny if she's okay. She asks if he saw the video. He tells her he did and that he wishes he were there that night to stop Peter. Manny likes that because it makes her feel like he's her protector.

Later at Group Therapy Craig tells and the group that he and Ellie have an audition that evening. He says he's feeling happy and strong after feeling so down, but that without the help from Ellie he wouldn't be anything.

Just before the audition begins, Joey and Craig are talking about women. Joey thinks he's too old to date Diane, who is 11 years younger than him. Joey asks Craig about Ellie; Craig says Ellie is just a friend. The band play a song for Diane, and she really likes them. She gives Joey her phone number and invites him to her sister's wedding as her date.

Later that evening, the band go to The Dot Grill . When Jimmy and Marco leave Ellie and Craig alone, she starts flirting with him but gets jealous when Craig sees Manny walk in and invite her to sit with them.

The next day at the mall Marco asks Craig about the previous evening at The Dot with Ellie. Craig tells him it wasn't a date because Manny joined them. In the drug store, an awkward and embarrassing conversation ensues when they catch Joey buying condoms.

Back at Craig's house he and Marco are moving the band equipment into their van. Ellie arrives looking hot, moments later, Manny arrives looking just as hot. Craig has invited her in case they need an extra hand. Ellie gets jealous again.

Before the Wedding Reception begins, Craig wonders why the two girls have to be so hot and isn't sure he can stick to his No Girls rule. Manny is doing her makeup and Ellie tells her she should be helping to set up. Manny tells her that they say there should be at least one attractive girl in every band.

During the reception Diane introduces Joey to her friends, but they think he's cheesy. When the band start to play, Diane asks Joey to dance and they go to the dancefloor. Diane's friends stare at him incredulously when it is clear he can't dance. Craig asks Manny to come and play the tambourine with the band which makes Ellie mad.

At the bar, Joey overhears Diane's friends making fun of his dancing and his age. He tells Diane he feels ill and has to leave. On stage Manny is dancing next to Craig. Jealous, Ellie throws a drumstick at her head which cause the band to loose rhythm. Manny begins to yell at Ellie, who leaves the stage. Craig follows and asks her what's going on. She tells him she's mad Manny's at the gig and that she only dressed the way she did for the band, not Craig's benefit. Craig tells Ellie she's a really good friend and she walks out on him.

The following morning at Joey and Craig's house, the doorbell rings. It's Diane, who gives Joey a Party Favor from the wedding. Joey reminds her he's a 34-year-old single dad with a used car lot and a house he doesn't own. She kisses him and says she's a 23-year-old girl who is sick of boys and wants a cute, dependable guy. He takes her inside.

Craig goes over to Emma's house to meet Manny. He tells her he invited her to cheer her up because things have been bad for her since the video. Manny apologises for the night before and they end up kissing.
