WRG was owned by Guy Hands ' investment company Terra Firma Capital Partners until recently when it was sold (excluding its waste to energy arm) to Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, S.A ("FCC"). The company offers services in Landfill Disposal, Energy Recovery, Waste Treatment as well as Reception and Recycling. Its Head Office is based in Northampton and has several divisions: WRG - North Division, WRG - South Division, Green Energy Plus Division, Waste Treatment Division, Darrington Quarries Ltd and Alco Waste Management.
