Vermont Route 119 ('''VT Route 119''' or '''VT 119''') is an east–west highway in Brattleboro, Vermont . It is the second shortest numbered highway in Vermont, after Vermont Route 26 . The eastern terminus of Route 119 is at the west end of the bridge over the Connecticut River , which is the border with New Hampshire . In New Hampshire the road continues as New Hampshire Route 119 into the town of Hinsdale . The western terminus of Route 119 is approximately 0.08 miles (420 feet or 129 meters) west of the state line where the highway ends at the intersection with Vermont Route 142 and U.S. Route 5 .
