philosophy reflects a belief that by providing a student with a structured academic format (the “AIM”—Academic Inspiration Map) within a living environment that highlights personal growth (the “ITIP”—Insight to Independence Plan), a student will be able to evaluate his/her perspective on the world and come to understand how that perspective is influencing their day-to-day decision making. Utah Prep’s approach of combining the structured academic and daily-life environments along with opportunities for service (“CAPP”—Community Achievement Promotes Pride) and recreation, is the foundation that will foster long-term change.
Utah Preparatory Academy was founded in December of 2004 by Diana Robbins. Their
staff now includes: Aaron Nicolaides - Clinical Director, Marilee Poulson - Education Director, Dana Dalton - Program Director/Admissions Director.
