Travel Town was dedicated on December 14 , 1952 . The Museum has several steam Locomotives and many other pieces of rolling stock. No excursions are offered, although Griffith Park has a miniature railway with separate admission {Link without Title} . The museum is open daily, except Christmas . Admission to the museum is free.
