Travel CUTS is a travel agency in as '''Voyages Campus'''. It has 50 offices in cities and campuses across Canada. HISTORY In the mid 1960s, the Association of Ontario Student Councils (AOSC) sold tickets to students on flights to Europe . When the Canadian Government passed legislation requiring flight sales to be sold by Travel Agents , AOSC founded the Canadian University Travel Service, or '''CUTS''', for short. In 1981, the AOSC merged with another Canadian student organization, the National Union of Students, to become the Canadian Federation of Students. Canadian Federation of Students/Services and Travel CUTS effectively became wholly owned by the CFS. In 2006, the CFS settled with four student organizations (University Students' Council of the University Of Western Ontario , the University Of Alberta Students' Union, the Alma Mater Society Of The University Of British Columbia , and the Alma Mater Society of Queen's University ) for an amount of between $250,000 and $3 million CAD for legal fees and a partial transfer of ownership. The case that had been going on since the mid-1990s.
