Thorp Arch is a small village in the postal district of Leeds 23. The village is in the county of West Yorkshire and comes under the Metropoliton District of Leeds and has a Wetherby telephone dialling code. The village is set on the River Wharfe, has a primary school and public house. The village is situated between the villages of Walton West Yorkshire and Boston Spa . It is dwarfed by the adjacent Thorp Arch Trading Estate and in the shadow of the main buildings of the British Library . The village is close to Boston Spa , Wetherby and Tadcaster . The village once had a railway station (situated on the adjacent to the trading estate) on the Harrogate to Church Fenton line. |
