Indian Institutes Of Management alumni. Tex Corp is still a privately held company being managed by the same group of people who formed it. The company was moved in the early
1990s to a then developing suburb of Delhi called
Gurgaon for more manufacturing space. Recently, Tex Corp has set up a manufacturing unit in
Roorkee in the state of
Uttarakhand .
Tex's key competitors include YKK, TOLON,

When formed, Tex Corp was called "GAPPS Industries, Limited". GAPPS was an

The Gap clothing company.
