Tex-Edit Plus is an extensively scriptable, styled Text Editor for Mac OS X from Trans-Tex Software. It is considered highly useful for cleaning up cross-platform text and styles. Tex-Edit Plus: The Little App That Could review Retrieved: 16 February 2007 Tex-Edit Plus supports AppleScript , Grep expressions, and Apple's Automator . It also supports Apple's Text-to-speech capabilities, and can save documents as audio files. As with some other Mac editors, Tex-Edit Plus can read and save files in various formats, including Unicode , ASCII and RTF . Tex-Edit Plus is based on the WASTE Text Engine .
