Technology integration specialist is a title used by the West Virginia school system for people who assist teachers in using technology in the classroom. It is not clear if the title has any specific meaning outside this context. West Virginia began the implementation of Technology Integration Specialist positions in order to assist teachers in facilitating the use of technology in the classroom. The positions are funded through EETT grants, and the role of the specialist is to work with teachers to support the utilization of technology in every day learning.
