The TECSIG web site is embedded in TCEA's web sitehttp://www.tcea.org/sigs/tecsig/default.asp TECSIG Home page, and is a paid membership organization. The group is famous among Technology professionals for their listserve where any members can ask a technology question and receive response from other members. The current president, Miguel Ghulin , has the honor of being kicked off of the listserve by the Executive Director of TCEA, Ron Cravey , for submitting TCEA business to other organizations without permission from the proper authorities. A new organization, SOSSIG , which is closely tied with TECSIG, is likewise a TCEA special interest group. SOSSIG specializes in Open Source support for educational institutes in Texas. REFERENCES |
