Systems Plus Inc. was established in Balibago, Angeles City on June 27, 1985 with five incorporators. The institution conducted seminars for those who are planning to enter Electronic Data Processing fields as Programmers , encoders and systems analysts. The school started tutorial programs for students and professionals on July 07, 1985 with less than ten (10) enrollees and by 1986 to ninety eight (98) enrollees. The same date also served as the school’s Foundation Day. In June 1987 , it offered associate courses in electronic service technician, computer technician, computer secretarial, and Computer Science . These courses were specially designed to meet the demands of the industries. This was instrumental in increasing student population from 600 in 1987 to 1,200 by 1989. The year and one in Miranda, Angeles City , which complimented the corporate image of Systems Plus, Inc. On April 08, 1991 , the school was renamed Systems Plus Institute Foundation, Inc., an educational institution of higher learning specializing in computer education. It pioneered in offering Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Region III. This was the school’s contribution to the global demand for computer professionals. In June 1991 , the enrolment figure went up to 1,500 but was greatly reduced to 50% before the end of the month because of the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo on June 16, 1991 . This month also marked the departure of the United States Airforce from Clark Air Base, Angeles City . These two events had enormously affected the economic situation in Angeles City . In June 1994 , in preparation for a four-level educational institution and for growth and development, the name of the school was changed from Systems Plus Computer Institute, Inc., to Systems Plus Computer College Foundation, Inc., with different vision/mission and goals. This also paved the way for offering more Bachelor Degree Programs in Computer Engineering , Computer Secretarial, Computer Education, Computer Technology, and Business Administration . This year also marked the establishment of the High School Department with the objective of starting the students at an early age to our kind of education that is well-balanced training in the arts and humanities with a very solid foundation in Information Technology through relevant and meaningful curricula. By the year 1995 , the economic and social situations in Angeles City have greatly improved, and slowly, the enrollment increased. Before the school year ended, two (2) more buildings were added to the Angeles City campus. In June 1996 , the Pre-Elementary and Elementary Departments were opened. On June 09, 1997 another campus was established in Caloocan City , Metro Manila. In June 2004 the SPCC was changed to Systems Plus College Foundation, Inc. |
