South Bend is a Train Station in South Bend, Indiana . It is served by Amtrak ''Lake Shore Limited'' service to and from Chicago , Boston and New York , and ''Capitol Limited'' service to and from Chicago and Washington D.C. .

The station also served as the terminus of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District 's South Shore Line until 1993, when that line was diverted to the South Bend Regional Airport .
