A 'soap-dodger' is British slang for someone who avoids Soap , ie. doesn't Wash . In the eighties and nineties the expression was used as a Pejorative term against New Age Travellers . It also appears in the novels of Irvine Welsh as a slur against Glaswegians. 'Soap-dodger' is also used as a slang term in Australia regarding English back-packers. |
