HISTORY

The history of Senses Fail starts with the lead singer, , a new track named American Death and a Cover of the song Institutionalized , which was originally by Suicidal Tendencies .

In 2005, the band's web site announced the departure, by mutual agreement, of guitarist Dave Miller. He was replaced by Heath Saraceno , previously the guitarist/vocalist of the band Midtown . Subsequent interviews with band members have made it clear that Miller did not leave voluntarily.

The band has played on the Warped Tour in 2004-06 and the International Taste of Chaos tour in 2006. In November 2006-February 2007, they did a headlining tour with such bands as Saosin , Alexisonfire and The Sleeping , and then completed the North American version of the Taste of Chaos Tour that featured such bands as The Used, 30 Seconds To Mars, Saosin, Chiodos, Aiden, and Evaline. They performed in a number of European festivals (as well as a couple of headlining shows) in April 2007, and played a short U.S. tour (including part of the Zumiez Couch Tour) with From Autumn To Ashes in June. On June 14, 2007, Neilsen announced from the stage that the band would do a Fall 2007 Co-Headlining Tour with New Found Glory , which will begin October 5 in Las Vegas.

On July 18th 2007 Senses Fail announced via MySpace that they would be writing songs again over the summer.
