Information About

Seabrook Potato Crisps

The company was founded by Charles Brook, and the name arose due to an error in a photo processing shop; instead of writing C. Brook on his film, the clerk wrote Seabrook, and the name stuck . Seabrook had two factories in Bradford - one in the Allerton area and one off Cemetery Road. The one in Allerton has been sclosed. Recently, the traditional "See What You Buy" plastic packets have been replaced by foil ones, a decision which has proved unpopular with some customers

Seabrook used to be famous for its misuse of quotation marks, including phrases such as ''"See" what you "Buy"'' and ''Tomato Sauce "Flavour"'' although it is now a lot more careful.
