SAFETY STATEMENT

Management of SH&W at Work is aided by documentation such as a Safety Statement.
Safety Management requires a Statment of the Safety Policy and the Safety Plan. Written Risk Assessment is essential as a basis for this exercise.
A Safety Statement specifies of the manner in which the Safety , Health and Welfare of persons employed by an Employer shall be secured and managed at work. The Statement should show the Safety Management System. This consists of the Safety Policy and the Safety Plan . It will be based on the Identification of Hazards and a written Risk Assessment that must be in the possession of the employer.
The Safety Policy is the policy of management at the highest level. The Safety Plan shows how this policy is implemented in the workplace.
