''Safety Glass'' is an upcoming drama film with a cast featuring Amber Tamblyn and Molly Shannon . SYNOPSIS When a reporter is sent to cover the Challenger Space Shuttle launch, she soon becomes entangled in the lives of some local troubled students. TRIVIA And all-star cast of spunky sisters, including Amanda Peet, Amber Tamblyn, Amanda Seyfried and Hilary Duff (“Big Love”), will frontline “Safety Glass”, a new teenage drama set around the time of the space shuttle Challenger tragedy. The film, written and directed by Johnathan Glatzer, will be seen through the eyes of a reporter whose sent to cover the Space Shuttle launch only to become mixed up in the lives of some local high schoolers.
