A retail park is a grouping of many Retail Warehouses with associated Car Parking . Retail parks are found on the fringes of most large Towns and cities, offering an alternative to busy City Centre s. Typically they host a range of Chain Stores , including Supermarket s such as Tesco , ASDA or Sainsbury , clothes or footwear Superstores such as Brantano , electrical superstores such as PC World or Comet , and DIY stores such as B&Q . Owing to their out-of-town sites, abundance of free parking and proximity to major roads, retail parks are often easier to reach than central shopping areas, and as a result often take away trade from city centre retailers. |
