CONTENT Introduction As in ''Animals'', ''Politics'' opens with a short comedy film starring Gervais. In this case Gervais is talking to the camera about various political institutions when he encounters a man in a Wheelchair ( Ash Atalla , Gervais' producer). Gervais speaks to Ash in a patronizing manner, stating that he is ...leg mental, not head mental.The short ends with Ash sitting on the grass nearby wearing a Fez (as he has stated to Gervais that he is Egypt ian), whilst Gervais plays with his wheelchair. The stand-up directly follows this introduction. |
