''Personal Computer Games'' was a multi-format UK computer games mag of the early/mid eighties. It is famous for launching the career of several notable games journalists of the 80's including Bob Wade, Peter Connor and Chris Anderson . Anderson would later launch '' Amstrad Action '', and Future Publishing , along with Wade and Connor.''"Amstrad Action"'', editorial, page 7, issue 1, October 1985. It included features that were later incorporated into other venerable mags of the genre. These included features such as multiple reviewer opinions for each game and full or multiple page reviews for the best games. The February 1985 issue was the last of the magazine. Chris Anderson and Bob Wade went on to launch the Commodore 64 magazine Zzap!64 . GAMES OF THE MONTH The highest accolade awarded by Personal Computer Games was the "Game of the Month".
