Parker Fennelly ( October 22 , 1891 – January 22 , 1988 ) is an American Actor . Fennelly was born in Northeast Harbor, Maine , and went on to appear in over ten films, one commercial series, and hundreds of radio episodes, and also made slightly more than a score of guest appearances. Fennelly personified the crusty New England Yankee in roles on Radio , Film s and Television . He played Titus Moody on Fred Allen 's radiop show, '''Allen's Alley'''.
