It does not have any form of city government such as a Mayor . Its police department is the Yakima County Sheriffs department. It has almost no stores or restaurants. It has Nickoloffs Fruit Stand, a postal service (P.O. box), a Fireworks stand that opens around the Fourth Of July and New Years , and Maria's Restaurant. It also has a very small fire station. Parker used to have a school until it burned down in the 1970's, so from that day on, the children of Parker attended Wapato schools, in the Wapato School District . |
