Palmer Park Mall




The mall has over 40 stores and as anchored by Boscov's (192,110 ft.&2) and The Bon-Ton (122,125 ft.&2). The shopping mall is owned by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust company.

Palmer Park Mall primarily serves as the main shopping mall for residents of the greater Easton, PA area, including the townships of Forks , Palmer , and Williams , and the boroughs of Glendon , West Easton , and Wilson .

The mall also serves as a designated "metro transit center" for several LANTA Metro bus routes, where riders can transfer to different routes.


HISTORY

Hess's and Clover department stores were the original two anchors of the mall. The mall underwent a renovation in 1982.[http://www.secinfo.com/dsvrb.828p.htm]

The mall experience a decline in business during the 1990's. In 1994, the Hess's store closed and became a Bon-Ton . The Clover department store closed it doors in 1996. In 1997, Palmer Park Mall only had a 68% occupancy rate. {Link without Title} .
