DEMOGRAPHICS AND STATISTICS Palmer High School accommodates 884 students in grades 9 through 12. Out of these 884 students, 242 are freshmen, 253 are sophomores, 209 are juniors, and 180 are seniors. The teacher-student ratio is 1:20, compared to the state average of 1:17. Of all the students currently enrolled, 10% are American Indian, 1% are Asian, 2% are Hispanic, 2% are African-American, and 85% are White. This is compared to the state high school averages of 27%, 7%, 4%, 5%, and 58%, respectively.
