This publication also contains questions that elders discuss with an unbaptized publisher who wishes to become baptized. The questions are not to test one's eligibility. Rather, it is to make sure that the unbaptized fully understand the beliefs that they are to represent after baptism. The questions also help the elders understand the person's thoughts on biblical matters and, in part, help discern true motives of prospective members. ''Organized to Do Jehovah's Will'' superseded a series of Organizational Literature that were periodically revised. Previous editions include: ''Organized to Accomplish Our Ministry'' (1983, 1989) and ''Organization for Kingdom-Preaching and Disciple-Making'' (1972). |
