Oklahoma Air National Guard




The Oklahoma Air National Guard is comprised of two wings: The 137th Airlift Wing and the 138th Fighter Wing .


UNITS

137th Airlift Wing Flies C-130 aircraft and is based geographically at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This unit however is currently under going training and set to cross over to the KC-135 Stratotanker. Aircraft operations will be transfered to Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Oklahoma. The unit will then work closely with the 507th Air Refueling Wing (ARW). However mission support units and most administrative staff will remain at Will Rogers World Airport.

''205th Electronic Installation Squadron'' The 205th EI Squadron is under the 137th ALW at Oklahoma City. This squadron is responsible for the installation and upkeep of electronic equipment, such as: ground radar, ground communications, avionic radar, avionic communications and cryptography repair.

138th Fighter Wing Operates the F-16 "Fighting Falcon" aircraft and is based geographically at Tulsa International Airport in Tulsa (Owasso), Oklahoma.
