Google Map Originally named Millcreek, the village was renamed by the postmaster to commemorate the British victory at Odessa in the Ukraine during the Crimean War . The village is home to Ernestown Secondary School , which services about 650 students from Amherstview , Bath , Napanee , Odessa, and Yarker .
