The 3rd Congressional District of Nevada is a Congressional District occupying the suburbs of Las Vegas , including Henderson , Summerlin, parts of North Las Vegas, and much of unincorporated Clark County . The district was created after the 2000 Census and was drawn so as to balance registered Republicans and registered Democrats. It is currently represented by Republican Jon C. Porter .
