Mobile County Public School System




MCPSS currently serves all areas of Mobile County , Alabama , USA - including the city of Mobile. MCPSS serves urban, suburban, and rural areas. MCPSS is the largest school system in the state of Alabama.

All MCPSS schools are required to adopt a School Uniform .

In June 2006 , the city of Saraland , the third largest city in Mobile County, voted to break away from MCPSS and form its own city school system. Saraland officials expect to have the new school system in operation by 2009 {Link without Title} .
