The Missouri Highway Patrol is the State Police agency for Missouri , which has Jurisdiction anywhere in the state. It was created to protect the lives, property and Constitutional Right s of people in Missouri. The Missouri Highway Patrol maintains nine troop headquarters in the following locations: Troop A: Kansas City - Lee's Summit Troop B: Macon - Hannibal Troop C: St. Louis - Flat River Troop D: Springfield - Marshfield Troop E: Poplar Bluff - Sikeston Troop F: Jefferson City - Linn Troop G: Willow Springs - West Plains Troop H: St. Joseph - Maryville Troop I: Rolla - Fort Leonard Wood Several of the divisions also maintain satellite headquarters. Twenty-seven officers have given their lives in the line of duty serving the citizens of the state of Missouri. The Missouri Highway Patrol is a division of the Missouri Department of Public Safety .
