The Michigan Architectural Foundation acknowledges contributions by architects and allied artists within the state. For example, in , a guide book for elementary school teachers who are teaching children about the built environment. The foundation administers the annual David Evans Memoral Grant For Historic Preservation , with the support of the Clannad Foundation . The sixth annual award contributed funds to the Pettibone Creek Hydroelectric Station Rehabilitation Project in Milford, Michigan .
