Current Issues A major current issue for the residents is the community's new water system. Residents must pay as much as $12 000. On the other side of the issue is the fact that water safety standards are higher. Also, the new water system enabled the development of a new subdivision on the east side of the village. The water issue has been featured on CBC national news. |
