is an
Independent Record Label specialising in
Electronic Music . It was set up in
2001 in
Cardiff ,
Wales and is currently run from Wellington, New Zealand.
In March
2005 , it was voted 'Best Label' in the
Welsh Music Awards , creating the most visible sign of Cardiff's thriving underground electronic scene. The majority of artists involved with the label are Welsh or have a strong Welsh connection.
Between October
2003 and September
2006 , the label ran a monthly night in
Cardiff called 'Terminal' featuring live sets from electronic acts. This included artists from the label's roster, as well as guests such as
Chris Clark (
Warp Records ),
Cylob (
Rephlex ),
Yellotone (
AI Records ),
Nathan Fake (
Border Community ),
Schneider TM ,
Dogmixer ,
Random Number (
Highpoint Lowlife ),
Kansas City Prophets (

The label has had close associations with the
Access Tonal Communications collective and
High Quality Recordings , both also Welsh in origin. These three labels together define 21st century electronic music in Wales, which is largely dominated by
Guitar-based Indie-rock and
Haircut Metal as typified by the
Manic Street Preachers or
Funeral For A Friend .
