The School's name is a by-product of a merger between Cleveland's old Lincoln and West High Schools. The mascot and schools nickname is Wolverines , and it's sports team play in the city's North Senate Conference along side the popular Glenville Tarblooders which has recently produced many Division I NCAA football players and NFL stars.
