Kentucky Country Day (KCD) is an independent co-educational college preparatory day school for junior kindergarten through 12th grade located in Louisville, Kentucky .

KCD was formed in 1972 by the merging of Kentucky Military Institute (founded 1845), Thomas Aquinas Preparatory School, Kentucky Home School for Girls (founded 1863), and Louisville Country Day (founded 1948).
