Home and Away was a song, released in 1989, by Australian singer Karen Boddington and New Zealand singer Mark Williams. The theme was composed by Mike Perjanik in 1987 for the australian soap opera '' Home And Away '''. The song charted at #73 in The UK singles chart and remained there for a week. The theme contains both the opening and closing themes used in the television show with additional ad-libs and a saxophone section unheard in television broadcasts. The latest version of the Home and Away theme tune debuted in Australia on 23rd April 2007 and in the UK on Five Life on 10th July 2007. |
