Han Geng (; 1984 ), also credited as '''Han Kyung''', is a member of the popular South Korean Boy Band Super Junior . He is the only Chinese member of Super Junior and is also the first native Chinese artist to debut under SM Entertainment and, in general, South Korea . He is also one of the members who has the knowledge of Chinese Martial Arts , and is known for his dancing skills, particularly skillful in Chinese traditional dances from 56 minority Ethnic Groups . 댄스 그룹 슈퍼주니어의 중국인 멤버 '한경 ). He is known as one of the three lead dancers of Super Junior. PRE-DEBUT Han Geng hails from Mudanjiang , Heilongjiang , China . He is an ethnic Nanai from Northeast China . After years of perfecting his craft at the to receive private lessons in Singing , Dancing , and Acting . He later joined the other trainees under SM Entertainment a year after. On February 6 , 2005 , SM Entertainment officially announced Han as a member of Super Junior . His first media appearance was in May 2005 , in a Fashion Show F/W general idea by Bum Suk. OFFICIAL DEBUT On November 6 , 2005 , Han officially debuted on '' SBS Inkigayo'' performing Super Junior's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." Being the first foreigner to debut in South Korea , Han holds an E-6 (Entertainment Industry) passport. The passport strictly limits an artist's promotional activities and appearances in various broadcasting corporations. He is only allowed to perform on two television stations, currently KBS and SBS , as stated by SM founder Lee Soo Man during a Harvard Korean Wave conference. He has previously signed with Mnet & KM. Fellow label mate, Zhang Liyin , is also under the same issue. Despite problems with his Visa , which prevents him from appearing on certain Television Programs , he is one of the few members of Super Junior who actively appears on Variety Shows . Being active in variety shows, his popularity within Super Junior grew and Han Geng became quite popular overseas. Aside South Korea , Han Geng is particularly popular in China .
