The recording was made in Knowle (near Birmingham) in August / September 1982 as a live recording (with no overdubs) on to a 2-track recorder. It was the first demo recording made by the group. The line-up for the recording was:
The cassette did not receive an 'official' release. However, the group did send the cassette to friends on a C30 cassette with a cover by Nicholas Bullen. The title of the recording (created by Nicholas Bullen) refers to the All Souls Night festival celebrated by pagan religions, and was inspired by the cover of the demo recording which featured a skull with Rose flowers in the eye-sockets.
