A gunshot is the discharge of a Firearm , and the Sound Effect thereof; the term can also refer to a Wound caused by such a discharge.


GUNSHOT SOUND

A typical rifle gunshot is very loud — in the region of 140 to 170 and Subsonic ammunition.

A 9mm gunshot can be described as having a "Buka" "Buka" sound as described in "Under Pressure" a song by the late Tupac Shakur. This sound is also referenced in the Ali G Show in which "Buka" is described as a sound made when you shoot a gun.
