Greenbank railway station Serves the village of Greenbank in Northwich in Cheshire .The station is on the A559 Road from Northwich to Chester . The train service runs East to West between Chester and Manchester . The Greenbank pub is next to the station and Mid-Cheshire College is about a quarter of a mile away. The station buildings are presently used as a Christian Church. There is a free car park. There's an Off-Licence and public phone box opposite the station, a row of shops nearby and a garage opposite the college. Hartford Railway Station is about a mile and a quarter away with trains to Liverpool , Runcorn , Winsford and Crewe .

On Sundays the trains run every three hours and the eastbound service terminates at Altrincham , with a connecting Manchester Metrolink service to Manchester. There is no ticket office, ticket machine, PA system or information screen at the station.

The majority of trains used on the lines are British Rail Class 142 with the occasional British Rail Class 150 or British Rail Class 156 using the line. British Rail Class 175 no longer come along this line.
