The Finance and Economics Student Association is an international Student Organization , with chapters in Texas and Mexico , registered under the University Of Texas At El Paso 's Student Development Center. It was developed out of the need to offer students a real world understanding of how business, policy, and information fit together in the Paso del Norte Region. Its main purpose is to become a motivating force that helps students become fulfilled individuals and successful leaders, this through the developing of projects as and strong Regional networks OUR REGION Our El Paso/Juarez Region is more than an expression of geography. It is a group of sovereign entities with inter-reliant social, economic, and security interests, where major developments in either side can, and do, have a powerful impact for all of us. But most importantly, our bi-national Region provides a framework for North American cooperation. REGIONAL IDENTITY MAGAZINE The publication's mission is to build bridges between Business, Government, and Universities in the West Texas/Chihuahua Mexico Region. This as they strongly believe that by having these three sectors working together the area can reach a better course of action for the community. This effort is intended to serve as a forum for the intellectual judgement of issues that bring about greater collaboration across the two states and thus foster the development of strong ties and a wealthier community. The publication will serve as a common ground for these three sectors on both sides of the border to come together. This thanks to the ever-growing network interactions of the student association’s membership. Whether it is by interviewing prominent business people and policy makers, or working together with faculty experts on both Texas and Mexico, the publication will serve as a strong network in the community. LA FEA SNOWBOARDING CLUB I may not know who you are or what you do. Yet if you pick up this I can tell you like the fresh air of a mountain top, the sensation of flying through powder, the thrill of riding down at great speeds, and the joy of landing a new trick. That is, you love to snowboard. Snowboarding is what La FEA snowboarding club is all about. Each winter we gather a group of students and venture to Ski Apache in Ruidoso New Mexico. We usually get there by nine in the morning, snowboard, and head out. This may sound kind of dull, but check out this cool quote I found at a Snowboarding site;
A NORTH AMERICAN LECTURE SERIES In joint effort with El Paso-Regional Economic Development Corporation, and the University of Texas at El Paso, the Finance and Economics Association is developing a series of presentations on the North American social and economic integration and their impact on the West Texas, Southern New Mexico, and Chihuahua region. This so that together we can develop a framework for a more prosperous future in North America. REGIONAL COUNCIL The Regional Council is an effort, under the North American Lecture Series Committee, to bring together Student Associations and other stakeholders from the area, so that we can develop a common vision for our community LA FEA TRIPS > |
