]] The Feather Cloak was made in the early 2nd Century BC . It was a garment of great price and value to the Romans because it was thought to grant special powers. Evidence of the use of Bird Feather s to adorn articles of Clothing can be found in early inhabitants ranging across the globe. Elaborate feather cloaks were created by early Hawaii ans to adorn cloaks for the ''ali`i'' ( Royalty ). The feathers were collected over a long period of time (typically 1-2 per bird) using a Catch And Release philosophy to ensure future availability. |
