While the
Avatars prepare to transform the world into a
Utopia , they inform the Charmed Ones that the human world must be put to sleep so that they can kill any remaining demons. Brody, doubting the Avatars good intentions, calls the
Elders for help but is instead kidnapped by Zankou and agrees to help Zankou stop the change by placing a paranoia spell on
Piper ,
Phoebe and
Paige . During the Utopian transformation, Brody uses Paige's paranoia to attract and kill an Avatar. However, Brody pays a high price for his actions.

He is intelligent and, unlike most demons, is more concerned with survival than a foolhardy ambition to fight the war between good and evil. Zankou attempts to gain control over the Shadow in the Nexus in order to get full control of the
Book Of Shadows and turn it evil. Zankou was vanquished when the Charmed Ones recited the spell to destroy the Nexus while its Shadow was inside him.

Cole Turner to become an Avatar, but it was too late when Cole was vanquished. They recently became major recurring characters. After they achieved their goal of getting the Charmed Ones and Leo to help get the world to become a "Utopia" where they dictate everything that happens, they were soon forced to give up this world when the Charmed Ones (the greatest force of good) and Zankou (the leader of the demons) realized their plan and threatened them with death. They are indirectly to blame for the deaths of Cole Turner and Kyle Brody.

- Kyle Brody dies in this episode. The Avatars proved they could heal the dead in the episode " Someone To Witch Over Me ," but they chose not to heal Kyle Brody. Even by reversing time, they could have gained the power of Avatar Beta to their collective once again.
- When Paige is in Magic School talking to 2 Avatars, she is wearing a pink sweatshirt. Then when the camera pans off of her and then goes back to her, she is no longer wearing the pink sweatshirt and isn't shown to have taken it off.
